At their heart is the Alpride E2 supercapacitor, 40 percent smaller and 11 percent lighter than the Alpride E1 system. The Side Stash pocket and Back Stash zip make it easier to travel on snow without stopping to hydrate or swap hats, gloves or eyewear.

BCA wanted to create a new pinnacle line of avalanche airbag backpacks that would be positioned above their current budget-focused backpacks, utilizing cutting edge electric supercapacitor technology.

The initial product line I designed has now been expanded, and all new backpacks from BCA share the same cohesive design language and feature set.
